During three two hour sessions you'll become familiar with getting under way points of sail, anchoring, docking, basic safety afloat, rules of the road, local weather conditions for sailing and some simple ship keeping  and maintenance skills. Taught aboard a 32 foot keel boat on Fair Haven Bay and Lake Ontario.

A sailing excursion of about three hours on Lake Ontario for up to four people at $  50 per person.Sail along a scenic coast and view the ice age legacy of the last glacier's retreat in the form of shoreline cliffs. Look for an eagle, enjoy wide skies and if you like, take the helm for a time.   Certificate must be used between June 15 and September 15 2006
